5. Crafting Materials and How to Obtain Them
Crafting materials can either be gathered directly through your gathering classes, bought from NPC vendors, or Final Fantasy XIV Gil purchased from other players via the Market Board. Here’s how to efficiently obtain the materials you need for crafting:

A. Obtaining Materials
Gathering: As mentioned, gather the raw materials using your Miner, Botanist, Fisher, or Skinner classes.
Market Board: For materials you can't easily gather, or if you're looking for high-level materials, the Market Board is a great option. You can purchase materials from other players who have gathered them.
Vendors and Retainers: Some materials, especially common ones, are available for purchase from vendors in cheap Final Fantasy XIV Gil major cities or through your own retainer's market listing.
Crafting: Once you've gathered materials, some of them can be refined through crafting recipes to make more complex materials. For example, ores can be smelted into ingots, and plant fibers can be spun into yarns.
Special Sources: Some crafting materials are only available through special activities, such as treasure maps, raids, or special crafting quests.
